Little Theater of Wonder produces theater for young audiences and open-hearted adults. We celebrate wonderment and the miraculous, created in an imaginative Poor Theater production style. We value wit and inventive theatricality.
Our inaugural production, “What’s Bugging Greg” by Darrah Cloud, toured six locations in the Saugerties/Woodstock/Kingston area Summer 2023. We are now planning a similar tour for our Summer 2024 season.
Do you have an idea for a play that will enchant audiences of kids and their grownups? Whose simple physical production will bring delight, and also fit in the back of a van? If you have an idea, pitch it to us!
“What’s Bugging Greg” was an adaptation of Kafka’s “Metamorphosis” - we are not daunted by challenging content.
We encourage music, movement, and zaniness. Adaptations are welcome. We want to tell stories that will make kids fall in love with theater, no matter how much or how little they’ve experienced. Also, let us know where you live and your relationship to the Hudson Valley.
