Celeste Graves, has graciously offered to host a three-part series of healing exercise and movement, Qigong Practice, beginning Sunday, May 10, at 11am, live via Zoom (in time for Mother’s Day!). (Qi means energy and gong means cultivation.) The first two programs will be full, all-inclusive Qigong for Self Care, based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, (TCM). On the third Sunday, the class will lighten up and get a little more playful, with Riff and Flow Qigong, a practice Celeste has designed with tribal and contemporary rhythms to inspire spontaneous, natural, and easeful movements. Celeste Graves, MA, C-IAYT, is a movement artist living in Saugerties. With a lifetime of dance, decades of yoga, and more recently as a Sr. Trainer with the Tai Chi for Health Institute, she currently zooms classes in intensive Qigong practices for self-care and immune-boosting to practitioners of all ages, fitness levels, and states of health. www.celestegravesfitness.com/.
