It’s a Romance. It’s a Horror Story.

What better way to go into a Valentine’s Day weekend that starts on Friday the 13th than gothic stories of love. Readings by Carol Goodman and Jared Reinmuth.

Carol Goodman is the New York Times Bestselling, award-winning author of twenty-seven novels, including The Widow’s House and The Night Visitors, which respectively won the 2018 and 2020 Mary Higgins Clark Award. She also teaches creative writing at SUNY New Paltz and New School. 

Jared Reinmuth is a multi-hyphenate whose work spans theatre, biography, and adaptation. He is the co-creator of Big Black: Stand at Attica begun in collaboration with former Attica Brother Frank “Big Black” Smith. The English-language edition of his French graphic novel, Le Comte de Monte-Cristo, comes out in 2026.

Doors at 5pm with food and drinks available.

Reading starts at 6pm. Inquiring Minds will also be selling books.
