Writers Jana Martin and Kim Merrill read from work that probes new ways of writing memoir. Martin comes from a background of award winning prose fiction, editing, and teaching, and will read from a forthcoming hybrid memoir. Merrill is an experienced actor, playwright, and currently, a memoir and prose fiction writer with awards in both genres. They will discuss their writing methods and take questions from the audience post-reading. J.C. Hopkins of the Rohmer Gallery, also a writer, publisher and musician, will host the event.
