Upstate Films and ShoutOut Saugerties present Balanced Growth: Community Conversation - Coming Together: Reorganization of Local Government.

This program will include an informational presentation regarding the different methods by which Village and Town governments are encouraged to unify by the State of NY. A case study of how this process was undertaken in New Paltz, and a discussion of the potential benefits and challenges of such reorganization in Saugerties.

WIth Special guests: Carl Ublacker, Local Government Specialist with the NYS Dept. of State; Tim Rogers, former Mayor and now Supervisor of New Paltz; Fred Costello, Supervisor of the Town of Saugerties; and Bill Murphy, Mayor of the Village of Saugerties.
