In honor of Augusta Savage Day on August 1st, a month long exhibit was held at the Lamb’s Center which included works by notable New York State artists significantly influenced by Augusta Savage: Carol Griffin, Monique Luchetti, JoAnne McFarland, and Debra Priestly; a rare, privately owned bust sculpted by Savage for a local family; art photos of local sites Savage frequented by Susan Murphy, and historic educational and reference works.
