ShoutOut is back!

Although we have had to cancel or postpone many events, ShoutOut has been busy planning projects and activities that adapt to our changed reality. Our summer programming will be aimed at lifting spirits and engaging minds, involving adults and children in creative activities, and providing visual delights and thoughtful pleasures. To that end, with virtual trumpet fanfare, ShoutOut announces:
The Tranquility Trail, a mural designed and executed by Angela Gaffney-Smith, with the help from artists Edith Bolt, Joanne Pagano Weber, and more. The mural will adorn the building at the Esopus Beach and feature the birds and plant life of the Esopus preserve.
June will see the Progress Pride banner in the Village, put together by the ShoutOut team to acknowledge Pride Month.
In July and August, we present ShoutOut Summer Saturdays (download flyer). Together with the Saugerties Public Library, we will offer weekly Saturday programs (outdoors) in film, theater, poetry, a family friendly workshop, and a special July 4th event at 7 pm. All events will be hosted at the library green and will maintain social distancing. Check in frequently to our calendar and become a Facebook friend or Instagram follower to keep track of programming. As always, you can give us a shout by email: info@shoutoutsaugerties.org
