April Play Readings: Un Hombre

It’s Spring, and ShoutOut returns to the Library Green providing safe arts entertainment for audiences. Our series of play readings, directed by Sydnie Grossberg Ronga and Beth Troxell and chosen from competition among Hudson Valley playwrights, begins Saturday, April 17 & and continues Sunday, April 18th. Saugerties Library, 91 Washington Ave. 

Un Hombre by Stephen Kaplan is a modern day golem story about a recently widowed single mother who makes a clay man who comes to life, consoles her, and serves as a Bar Mitzvah and Spanish tutor for her 12-year-old son.

Because readings are outside, please bring blankets or chairs. Masks are required and we will socially distance. The readings are  free; donations are encouraged and graciously accepted.
